French Country Style Home
4675 Via Amante, Yorba Linda, California
After the roof trusses are all in place the contractor then begins installing the plywood roof sheathing over the roof truss system. The contractor will then need to call for a “roof nailing inspection”. Once the contractor has been signed off he can cover the plywood roof sheathing with one layer of 30# roofing paper before the roof shingles are installed. The following photographs were taken on Saturday December 5th 2009. Judging by the photographs one can truly see how this French Country Style home is taking shape.
This is the view of wrap around veranda at the rear of the dwelling.
I am standing on the rear sloped area of the property looking down toward the Borel’s new master bed and bathroom on the left side of the photograph. The great room and wrap around veranda are on the right side.
We are looking at the right side of the dwelling looking toward the kitchen, butlers pantry and dining room.
We are standing in the future kitchen looking out through the great room.
Jim Borel wanted plenty of storage space in his new attic. So we gave it to him. Working closely with Justin Dziublenski of the Stone Truss Company, we were able to give Jim an attic space that is approximately eight feet wide and thirty feet long with access gained through the laundry room.
We are standing inside the entry foyer looking up at the window that is directly over the front door.
We are viewing the front door and guest bedroom to the left of the entry.
