I stopped by the job site today to check on the progress of the installation of the roof truss system. Phil Howard of P. Howard Construction indicated on Friday that the roof structure was 75% complete as of Friday afternoon. Stone Truss Company, Inc. will be delivering the remaining roof trusses on Monday. The following photographs were taken today. There was light rain today but that did not stop the framers from working on this holiday weekend.
This is the view of wrap around veranda at the rear of the dwelling.
I am standing on the rear sloped area of the property looking down toward the Borel’s new master bed and bathroom on the left side of the photograph. The great room and wrap around veranda are on the right side.
We are looking at the new master bedroom on the left and the veranda with the great room beyond on the the right.
We are standing in the future kitchen looking out through the great room.
This is the only volume ceiling in the entire dwelling is in the great room.
Jim Borel wanted plenty of storage space in his new attic. So we gave it to him. Working closely with Justin Dziublenski of the Stone Truss Company, we were able to give Jim an attic space that is approximately eight feet wide and thirty feet long with access gained through the laundry room.
This is a view of the attic area over the secondary bedrooms.
This is other side of the wrap around veranda on the left side of the dwelling.

That attic was the first thing i was able to visualize while looking at the framing structure.
Lookin good
It is a nice big attic Loren. I think it is bigger then the owners thought. I told them to start buying more wine to store up there. Thanks for stopping by and viewing my blog. I could not have done it without you and Sharon!
