THE FOUNDATION AND FOOTINGS ARE POURED
After the contractor has placed the moment frames into the footing cavities, the pad footings are then poured first and allowed to cure before pouring the remaining footings and the slab. The grade beam or steel cages that I spoke of in my previous post are what tie the steel columns together creating a structural moment frame.
